Quality Control Inspector (Steel Fabrication)
- Conduct daily inspections of structural steel fabrication, including visual weld inspections, dimensional verification, and surface preparation and coating assessments.
- Assist in the inspection and verification of incoming materials.
- Perform internal quality audits to ensure compliance with AWS standards and company QA/QC procedures.
- Accurately read and interpret structural steel drawings and specifications.
- Identify and resolve issues related to materials and fabrication processes.
- Perform final product testing as needed to verify adherence to quality standards.
- Generate detailed inspection reports upon completion of production.
- Approve and sign off on finished products prior to shipment.
Qualifications:
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting structural steel drawings.
- Knowledge of AWS codes and quality assurance procedures.
- Previous experience in structural steel fabrication and quality control is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to product integrity

Teamwork and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, production-focused environment.
Physically capable of standing and walking for extended periods, as required by the demands of the fabrication floor.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in quality control, preferably within the steel fabrication or manufacturing industry.
